One of the greatest men to have ever lived. Alexander was nothing in front of him.

Maan, what a demonstration of ego, power and might.Just look at this guy.Carving himself on mountains, creating collusses , art, history, literature. Just a massive massive persona.

Temple of Aswan , Carving himself multiple times over on mountain face.

Ramses at the battle of Kadesh

Ramses Offering fire to the Godess, Paintings.

Ramses Charging

Ramses Collossus.

Ramses 2 was truly great, his achievements far exceed that of Alexander. Alexander just conquered a few hillybillies in Iran and some scythians, when it came to India and he faced an organised army, he chickened , so he wasnt a great conqueror per say, neither was he a builder. Ramses won at Kadesh, he built all these stuff and left it for the future to see. So, who is truly great. Its Ramses 2 the great.

@ChemDawg Its a Greek Fantasy story, if Alexander won against Porus he would have crossed the Indus and entered the subcontinent, instead what happend was he was speared, his horse died and Porus kept his own Kingdom. Indian sources dont record Porus resisting Alexander, because for ancient Indians it was a given that no force can cross the Indus, which is impossible due to the Elephant cavalry, it was too much of a task and Porus was a minor King. So, the Greeks wrote the fantasy story as Alexander won the battle, but OH soo graciously gave away his spoils to Porus. Pretty convenient right!, given that Alexander has never given up terretory previously. Besides this, even as per Greek stories, his army was too chicken to fight further into India proper even if we beleive the Greek fantasy story that Alexander won over Porus.
