Cloud storage is pretty mature now, but I'd still rather have more control over it than any of the large providers give, obviously (I'm thinking Google and Microsoft for starters, never use Apple anyway, myself). There's a self-hosting solution called NextCloud I'll be looking into, which allows configuration of one's own server to be used for cloud storage. I think I'll probably need to polish my systems administration skills beforehand though.
