When the phrase, "black lives matter" is used, but a person is killed by the hands of another black person, should there be uproar and protests??

Yes, If blm, they should matter for all black lives, not just when they are killed by white officers
No, they are two completely different circumstances and it is taking away from the BLM movement

I have my opinions, but I'm curious about what other people think.

NOTE: because of character limits

black lives matter = blm

What is it about the name 'Black Lives Matters' that twists the shorts of so many? It seems like it's all pretty clear to some but others jusssst aren't catching on yet.

Your 2nd answer seems to be what I see/hear a lot in "the press".....and God help you if you say "all lives matter"....that's like using a racial epithet at this point.....correct names, statues, movements...do people hate police? George Washington? Columbus? It's so disjointed which is why I think it's failing-at it's core, it's based on hating or destroying....that's not the way to win hearts and minds IMO.

Here's the thing, sure the person's life mattered even if it was a black person who killed them. However it's not exactly usually an issue of race in that situation. Then it's more just an issue of someone died rather than a black person died. I'm a 25% black 25% hispanic and 50% white male. (Going purely off of my birth parents)

The United States of America has a constitutional right to freedom of speech. Some of which is going to be offensive to some. Nevertheless it is a right and part of our freedom. Therefore offended lives don’t matter.

@gregloa My sister was speaking her mind bluntly about it and some people got upset about it but she didn’t care. She ignored the offended three comments. I wish I can speak my mind like my sister.

there should always be protests when the police kill someone unjustly

It doesn’t seem to count if they are killed by another black person, it’s a bit strange

Why upsets me is nothing is being done!
