Why do people get upset or offended when the truth is told to them? I am one of them

Like say someone speaks their mind, even if their brutally blunt to them and hurt their feelings. My friend told me my drawing was pathetic and nobody is going to want to buy it when it’s crap. That hurt my feelings so bad and I didn’t even ask for her opinion. My best friends is very blunt and brutally honest and tells it like it is and doesn’t even consider people’s feelings.

What she told you there was NOT a fact. It was her opinion. Unless she is an art expert, she has no business talking to you like that about your art. Even if she is an art expert, she has no way of knowing what people will or won't want to buy. You've mentioned this friend before. I think she is bad news.
