Why do people get upset or offended when the truth is told to them? I am one of them

Like say someone speaks their mind, even if their brutally blunt to them and hurt their feelings. My friend told me my drawing was pathetic and nobody is going to want to buy it when it’s crap. That hurt my feelings so bad and I didn’t even ask for her opinion. My best friends is very blunt and brutally honest and tells it like it is and doesn’t even consider people’s feelings.

Sometimes, truth hurts. Also, it could either improve or dismantle that person, depending on the truth. For me, when people think I can't do this, such as my own drawings, I turn that into strength. My art is better than before. Trust me, a girl on here said that my artwork is uninspiring and mediocre. This was the drawing for someone else. Out of all people that did liked it, she didn't:

@AutismGirl18 I don't think she was trying to be mean, although it was kinda rude for her to say that to you. Art, including drawing art, takes a lot of work to get it right. Art isn't always perfect, because every drawing can have errors that you could fix. You can have that chance to fix what you messed up on. What drawing did you do?

@AutismGirl18 I'm not on her side, but I was telling you what I think. But if you're certain that she's both rude and mean to you, I suggest you don't talk to her. Let no one think your talent is bad.

@AutismGirl18 Well, she did delete her comments. She knew it was rude, and probably avoiding being called out. I'd expose that person if they try to be disrespectful like that. You should do the same.
