Through fire, nature is reborn whole.
The Australian bush is recovering from bushfires.
Green shoots are sprouting and animals are returning.
Many eucalypt species re-sprout after fire, because they are pyrophytic plants – which means they are adapted to survive in fire-prone habitats.
Animal Species that were thought to possibly disappear have been found alive and breeding.
The entire colony of brush-tailed rock-wallabies in Kangaroo Valley, NSW, has been saved after bushfires devastated the region.

I hope there’s no more fires, those poor animals have been traumatized enough.

@cherokeepatti There will always be Bushfires here.
We are receiving less winter rain now than we did 50 years ago so the fire season is longer.
All we can do is recover and do everything possible to keep our animals alive.
