Should I buy a car?

Sitting cars have problems and will require maintenance.

Not driving a car is one of the worst things you can do to it. Wait till your vision is better.

It's hard on a car just sitting for long periods.

Thanks everyone! I know deep down inside I should not buy one and I will not, I guess I just wanted validation. I don't and will not put my life at risk or others for driving. I guess just the thought of having a car will give me hope.

If and until your vision gets better you will have to pay insurance on a car that just sits if you do that. Of course if you have a car, even if you can't drive you can sometimes find someone with a license to drive you around. Perhaps a young relative who does not have a car.

Wait for your vision to get better, then buy the car.
