Who is the most interesting person you've ever talked to and what did you talk about?

I have worked for a lot of rich and influential men and women
I know or knew (most are dead now ) men they name ships after .
Some were the ones who talked me into joining the Coast Guard ,I wanted the Air Force ,but my Grandpa did serve in the Guard 36 yrs and reached the highest Non com rank you can reach .commanded both of the only 2 battle ships the Coast Guard had during WW2 ,,My Dad Dad served in WW1 ,was 99 yrs old the day he died ,in 3 months he would have been 100 ,,he was working in his orange grove .
He ran his Dads sea food company ,he and his brother ,over 200 yrs old now ,
They fed the nation during the great depression ,they gave men and women jobs
And his sons built roads all over our nation ,one was a mayor and worked for NASA ,my Dad the greatest man I ever knew ,helped put men on the moon ,
only to have idiots say if was faked ,,that has been disproved over and over
but some just seem to love lies more then the truth ,their loss I say .
I have opened for a lot of big and famous groups ,recorded my own album .
So fame and fortune does not impress me ..
People like my Dad ,my Grandma's and Grandpa's and people like Maya Angelou and Nelson Mandela and Christ do ,,
Giants all of them to me ,,and all humble and kind

What's interesting to me is boring to others. I am more interested in a conversation about baking or houseplants than a conversation about politics or adventurous vacations. Lol

A Syrian born Iraqi who’s whole family was killed off by isis. He reminded me of my father. He was soft spoken. A small guy. But strong and intense.

He was our interpreter in Iraq. We’d take him out with us. He was the only one we trusted with a gun.
