Local news only hires sexy young girls

Years ago only men read the news. Now it seems that local news mainly hire skinny, sexy, very young female reporters, anchors and weather people. Is this ok or should they also have older women with various body types? I’m not asking for them to be PC. Simply do not want under 25 and under 100 lbs to be a requirement to get a job.

Joe Biden wants ONLY a woman for VP, but that's OK for some reason. I don't see the difference. It's sexism and discrimination.

@SecondMarge As the media will do anything to get viewers generating advertising dollars. Equal opportunity and fairness is thrown out the window.
Makes me laugh when the local stations say they are an "equal opportunity employer". 😂

@SecondMarge The station owners and sponsors think it does. Why else would anyone tune in to the local TV weather report? You can get it on the internet and it's 10x more accurate and up to date.
Our local station plays a recorded "update" of the morning weather bimbo that runs all day. Many times at 4 in the afternoon she says "good morning". They don't change the recording until after 6PM, and NOBODY CARES!
