Does anybody ever look happy buying alcohol or cigarettes?

My father one told me of a friend who owned a liquor store who was given a German Shepherd puppy by a family member. My father would see the dog when he went into the store, and the dog would wag its tail. The owner told my father that it had been given to him for protection, but that the dog was very friendly and liked everyone.
About a week after that a man came in and pulled a gun on the owner. The dog leapt up and bit hard near the man’s wrist, causing him to drop the gun. The owner picked up the gun with a plastic bag & called the police.
He told my father he never would have believed that the dog would do that....but it kind of made sense, since people would be happy when buying the liquor, and the owner was happy to sell it. This man was angry, and he startled the owner....so the dog knew there was something wrong.
I think most people are reasonably happy when making a purchase of something that they will use for their own enjoyment.
