So, what's your opinion on...

Super opinionated people? It's fine to have an opinion, but there's a delicate art in the balance, don't ya think? A moment where you step back and say to yourself "I have an opinion on this, but is it really necessary that I express it?"

When you ask a question here you will get all kinds of opinions.
In real life if they do not ask I do not give one.
I try to use some tact when I answer.

Totally agree. When you ask a question you are inviting opinions. I guess I'm referring to posts/stories of a different nature. Ones that are not asking for an opinion. But are just statements, thoughts or ideas.

@CharmedHeart: I think ,,because it is a public posting people will feel it is up there for review and will make their sentiments known.
If they are respectful, I am fine with that, but there is no need to be a rude jackass about it or to keep harping on it, which is what I think(?) you are saying.

On some level, yes. I was mainly referring to an incessant amount of opinions which happen to always be condescending and/or negative.
And, I agree with your reasoning.
