Who the frak would do that?
@SW-User gaeta would totallly do that
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@SW-User lots of people said it to me and my brothers growing up, and now some lady said it to my niece since she's been outside since lockdown started🙃 so just so everyone is aware it's not ok lol
SW-User
@Lucyy Yeah, that is mental. Why would you make anyone, especially a child, feel like something is wrong with their body?
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@SW-User darker skin is considered more unattractive for some reason. So people feel the need to comment on it. I used to be told I looked "more black" than my brother and I was like wtf
SW-User
@Lucyy This is the darkest person I've ever seen and she is beautiful.

@Lucyy sorry i am not a racist and would never say anything on those lines but do you not think the political correct brigade are jumping on the band wagon to much with comments that could be deemed offensive if anybody finds this post offensive then i will gladly delete it
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@smiler2012 what are you talking about lol? My point is don't make kids feel bad because they have darker skin. Which everyone should stand behind
SW-User
@smiler2012 Finding a black woman beautiful is too politically correct for you?
smiler2012 · 56-60
@SW-User no far from it you take my comment out of context what does p .s .a mean before i write any more and drop myself in it further
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Lucyy agreed but why make a point of the fact as you have
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@smiler2012 because people do it all the time. It's something I've heard, something my siblings have heard, something my niece has heard, and something all darker black kids have heard. And it's not ok. Frankly it's blatantly racist and shouldn't be normalised.
SW-User
@smiler2012 Why did you make that comment on my answer then?
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Lucyy agree with you there is no place for racism but what i meant to say is some play the race card at the drop of a hat at any innocent comment made
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@smiler2012 but I didn't say anything about that so why even bring it up? What I said has nothing to do with any kind of "race card", it has to do with not degrading the color of a dark child's skin.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@smiler2012 and most often if a black person says something is racist it's because it's racist lol. The "race card" is the vast minority, and white people try to use it as well. A lot of people ARE racist and so when someone brings up race/racism, it's generally very valid
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Lucyy sorry if you degrade the colour of a dark childs skin how the hell are you suppose to react to the comment
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Lucyy i hope you are not suggesting i am
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@smiler2012 I don't even know what you're talking about at this point. My entire statement was "hey, don't do this" and you're taking it beyond that to a "race card". Which is irrelevant and generally not even tried when people say its being used. Generally when people say "don't be racist" people counteract with "oh, so you're pulling the race card". And no, they're saying stop being racist lol. That's all. Just don't be racist is all I've said. To the general public, I never even specifically addressed you until you commented lol so I've definitely implied nothing about you unless you're one of those people who think this is ok
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Lucyy you are not saying i am a racist
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@smiler2012 unless you think it's okay to tell a child that they're too dark or assume everyone who brings up racism is pulling "the race " card. That's the only thing I've said is racist.
