Why do you think racism against white people is ignored in this country?

Unfortunately, in all races around 15% of the people are racist.

To define racism: they believe they are better than people of other races
Racists believe they are entitled to more privileges, services and protections, and that they have the right and duty to ensure that other races cannot have access to the same rights. They work systematically to achieve these ends, even if only by passive means such as voting for racist politicians.

Micro-racisms can be expressed by avoiding people not of the same race, verbal abuse, rude gestures, inappropriate questions, and assumptions for which there is no basis of evidence.

In the USA 60% of the population is white. Whites control the rules of politics, economics, taxation, law, education, information technologies, medicine, social services, transport, mineral rites, agriculture, immigration and the military.

This means that whatever racism non-whites may feel or express, it rarely has enough sting to worry whites.

The imbalances are real. One only has to check out the US government's own statistics on any measure to see how enormous the inequities are. These stats are permanently available online and free to access from anywhere in the world. Try looking them up.

The upside is that 85% of people of all races are not racist.
Smug, self-righteous, and willful ignorance is the reason. The first problem is those that take this perspective fail to understand that racism, discrimination and stereotypes about whites (just like stereotypes about anyone) perpetuate the status hierarchies we all seek to overcome.

The second problem is that those who practice racism, discrimination and stereotypes against whites do so covertly with the goal of 'getting even' or revenge for perceived injustices in the past. Some political figures even pander to this narrative for votes.

Furthermore, this behavior is plain unjust. Two wrongs don't make one right. It just perpetuates hatred and ensures it continues into the next generation. Let's not forget, justice is about balance - revenge is about making oneself feel better.

Defending the targeted group has to be trendy and discussed by the media ,or else it doesn't receive responses or attention.

But objectively speaking, lot of people who want to talk about racism against whites are bigoted against other groups and the discourse itself is unhealthy.

@Miram Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are as racist as they come.

The only things that make the news are things that fit an ideological narrative. It's why everyone has their own preferred echo chamber, because different groups resonate more with different narratives.

I think most news outlets just don't want to report on this because they don't want to associate themselves with the white supremacists that would jump on that story. It's a pretty toxic group responsible for some violence around the country. If you give them ammo or legitimacy, it could very easily backfire. which is why I think the topic of anti-white racism tends to get buried
