How do i do this without a calculator?

It's not the answer for my assignment or anything. I just need to know how to explain this without using a calculator haha. Or can this only be simplified without a calculator?

By the way that's minus cubed root of the fraction. Not -3 multiplied by the square root of the fraction. ANYWAYS IM CONFUSED

Umm 27 is a cube of 3 and 8 is that of 2 so it is -3/2 or -1.5 ?

@SeductiveCactus negative cube root doesn't make sense to me. It must be minus one multiplied by cube root of that.:)

This is actually fairly easy.

3√27 = 3
3√8 = 2

So your answer is -(3/2)

I think you first divide 28 from 8 and the answer you that line means another form of division, so it’s 3.5 - -3 = is your answer that’s my way of doing it
