No. I was still hoping to go camping and visit old friends. I did not realize a tidal wave of misfortune was about to hit me and almost kill me. It destroyed life as I knew it. The old long time friends are now all dead or incapacitated, I got extremely ill and at first I got some bad medical care which delayed my healing. I lost half my eyesight and hearing; surgery returned my eyesight to me but it took a year to get the necessary medical care to clear up my ear infection and now some of my hearing is back. It seems incredible to me that I ever dreamed of travel and camping out at hot springs. That was in another life before I lost my friends, money and health. I am fighting for a recovery now and have made some significant progress.

at your age i don't think you'd enjoy camping , trekking for miles with a heavy packsack , mosquitoes pissing you off , bitching about everything under the sun , sorry to burst your bubble i'm 58 and i'd have a hard time with it , lol

@FurryFace: I never did enjoy that kind of camping. I don't hike, with or without mosquitoes.

What I dreamed of was joining a campground club (like 1000 Trails) traveling in a van, parking next to a hot springs and soaking my arthritis away. I also dreamed of visiting some of my friends and my sister. I still think that may be possible because my recovery is going fairly well and within the next 3 months my debts will be paid off.
