i think it's a matter of geography
South Dakota didn't lock down and is doing fine - but they are spread out.
there are plenty of places that don't have a big population and that don't have a lot of coming and going - they should be opened.
Michigan is revolting (not disgusting - they are in revolt) and want to be turned loose - let them go and study the hell out of them
New York City could be opened for essential workers and make masks free for those that want to use them

@Pretzel South Dakota had 90 cases at the end of March. This morning that number is 1,311 - in a state with relatively little testing being done.
Meanwhile Governor Noem has signed her approval for a study of hydroxychloroquine on 2,000 of her citizens. No word yet on whether those citizens will volunteer.

@hlpflwthat so all the other folks ...I wonder if they were asymptomatic or in the hospital. It would be good to know.
