How good are you at reversing a vehicle with a trailer attached?

I admit I've never tried it and suspect I'd be worse than useless. lol
I've just watched my neighbour across the street try 4 times (well I technically only witnessed 3) before he succeeded, after he knocked over his 3 wheelie garbage bins on his first attempt which alerted me. 🤭

I used to be reasonably good but that was years ago and so I'd be completely out of practice! The shorter the trailer the more difficult it is, too.

@Zoranna Yes. It's an effect of the tow-hitch being much further from the trailer's axle.

I had to renew my driving-licence recently when its 10 years ended. I have not examined it closely but I would not be surprised if they have omitted my authority to tow trailers and ride motorcycles, though I don't see myself ever needing them again.

@ArishMell We don't need a special licence to tow normal trailers but we do for motorcycles. I actually have a "Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence" but I've never driven a truck, well I've moved one. lol I did drive a 22 seater bus occasionally and they're remarkably easy to drive.
