Will you post a song here in your native language, it doesn't have to be translated if it's not in English.

Sorry for the bad quality but that's the only video I found with English subtitles on a song that I think is a cool one. [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOif8rhoJjE]

I like it. This one isn't in my native language but I figure lots will be in English. This is an Italian singer singing in Spanish. It reminds me of being at my grandparents.

Love is a simple thing, I will hold in my hands
and I will be that you did not expect
I will be waking up in that wind
I will be the destination, you can never choose it......
@curiosi So sweet! Thanks.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether this is like a summer camp they do in Irish..
They go to irish speaking places for two weeks...
From 11 to 18 years of age.
They don't have to go.
@Dusty101 Oh that's really cool thanks for explaining.

Pfft, I don't even know my first language. I learnt English, Spanish, and Mandarin/Cantonese at the same time

Here's one in Spanish, though

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether My mother spoke Spanish, but I also lived with my grandmother, who spoke mandarin, and sister who spoke English. So no one knows.
@SW-User What did your father speak? In that case I don't think it matters, it's so cool to have 3 first languages 😎 only an Asian can afford that lol

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether My dad spoke Mandarin, but I didn't live with him.
This is a folk song from my father’s side of the family. He used to sing it to me when I was small. There’s a little bit of history about it.

@bijouxbroussard Sounds really nice! Which language is that? 🙂
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Creole, or pidgin French.

@Elandra77 Soviet Russia? It's a beautiful song! I don't know why it sounds familiar, do you know if it was translated in other languages?
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether No I don't know if it has been translated. I just know it was popular with the youth of Russia in the 1960's.
