It might appear that way. It depends on what kind of rounds were being fired at the windows. My point is the cost to upgrade these vehicles further than they already have been to make bulletproof is beyond most township or city budgets. @pikminboy
@pikminboy Specialized equipment like riot vans, trailers, SUV’s for SWAT operations will have those kinds of upgrades. But the common patrol car or traffic unit will not.
@pikminboy Many bullets are deflected by regular windshields. Bullet proof glass is 1-5"thick. A regular Cadillac limo weighs about 6,000lbs. The "Beast" the US Presidential limousine weighs over 22000lbs. That is a bulletproof car.
