Here is a thought, why don't we instead quarantine the elderly and those most prone to die from the virus instead?

and we team up to provide them with their necessary needs to survive?

Instead of quarantining the whole world and causing major economic impacts why not quarantine those most voulnerable.

historically, isolating/segregating people under the pretense of it "being for their own good" hasn't worked out so well... 🤔

@wildbill83 well they are the ones dying mostly, and we young people need our economy in good standing because in a few years those old people will be dead and we will be suffering the long term consequences.

@wildbill83 we are quarantining them for their own good and ours.

@dark548 then what? put all the blacks in internment camps because they commit the majority of crime?

neuter all the hispanics because they carry the majority of STD's? 🤔

on a strictly numbers basis, both of those kill more than any virus yearly...

@wildbill83 ok subtle prejudice coming from you

@wildbill83 it's like you've been waiting to type those words.

@wildbill83 I'm talking about saving lives and stopping an economic recession and you somehow bring Hispanics, blacks and segregation into the conversation.

@dark548 no, I'm using an analogy/making a comparison based on your comment... no prejudice at all

@wildbill83 don't buy it
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@dark548 then that's your problem 🤷‍♂️

@wildbill83 use your brain more wisely man. We need to save lives while keeping this economy afloat. There will be no time to propagate generalizations about people when we are dead or really poor.

@wildbill83 I don't think that luxury will be there anymore.
