Why are chinese people so hard to understand when they speak english?

I have to squint hard with my brain to figure out what they are saying.
Reminds me of a joke..

I was at my bank today; there was a short line.

There was just one lady in front of me, an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yen for dollars. It was obvious that she was a little irritated...

She asked the teller, "Why it change? Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla of yen. Today, I only get hunat eighty. Why it change?"

The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, "Fluctuations..."

The Asian lady says, "Fluc you white people too!"

The squinting bit is racist

@SW-User I didn't say anything about their eyes I said it about my brain

@seashells It's highly implied. You see, I said it was racist without mentioning the reason. You, yourself, pointed out the reference and explained why

I know Chinese people who speak English very well ._.
Even better than I do so no need to attack a nationality

Then joke on squinting afterwards. That's not good

Just imagine what they think when we try to speak their language.

Maybe you should try speaking mandarin or Cantonese

They probably think the same of our attempts to speak Cantonese!

They spend their time to learn more to improve their skill rather wasting time to learn languages... See they make things for the whole world...
It probably has something to do with the differences in our languages.
