Would you be angry if a store employee followed you outside to take a closeup photo of you and your car and license plate?

Ive gone to this spa biweekly for about one year and have always paid promptly including generous tip. This time I forgot my wallet and I quickly explained everything. I gave the manager my phone number and apologized. I explained that I would return within 15 min. She asked me to leave my cellphone with her which I declined to do. She reluctantly approved me to leave and said please return. And once I got in my car the paparazzi employee ran out snapping every photo that they could from every angle. When I came back within about 10 minutes to pay I told her that I would not be back again because that behavior was rude. She said sorry and literally ran away after swiping my card.

Most people who forget their money don't lose their temper because a place of business didn't trust them. You ALWAYS leave something of value like your watch or your cellphone or your ring if you have to run home to get your wallet. When you refused, you probably set off all their mental alarm bells.

@4meAndyou I never lost my temper. I never yelled or raised my voice. I am also not a stranger there. How many customers spend 1600 a year somewhere and then suddenly decide to run out on a single bill. They know me. I would have glady allowed her to write down my license plate. She did not ask for it but then ran outside and took 10 pictures of me and my car. I wasn't going to leave my valuables with her. Im tired of shops acting like they are suspicious of good customers.
