Do you think it's possible to have PTSD and not realize it?

its comes from long term abuse or neglect unlike ptsd which can happen from a short term traumatic events such as combat solders know in a certain time they will be going home they develop ptsd , think of cptsd as kids living in a war zone for many years , or a person abused by parents or husband for several years or neglected by parents no food or love or shelter
