Do you prefer an AR 15 or ak 47?

@Notanymore well that's ok. I like the look that the TEC-9's heat sink affords anyway. The fire rate less so.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP both the tec and the Mac are outdated submachine gun technology made for very specific purposes and pretty inadequate at anything else

@Notanymore Well fair enough. I’ve never even seen or touched either one but I have been curious about firearms for decades. It looks like the AR “pistol” concept has supplanted the whole PDW(personal defense weapon) pistol caliber carbine / sub machine gun in popularity and functionally. Yet H&K and many others continue to make pistol caliber semi and automatic weapons which I’m sure do have a specific use case. Be that a discreet security role in executive protection or situations where their usage just makes more sense. I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀. Anyway hope you’re having a great day.
