Mail, who still uses snail mail? I miss getting letters. Just bills and junk in box now days!

@traceavery Letter writing worked primarily because there was no internet. There was no "instant message" or text.
People also used to go off to sea or to other countries, their family and friends wouldn't hear from them for YEARS. You had no idea if people were alive or dead, this was what made getting a letter so exciting. Plus, they often took weeks to be delivered. "It seems we're expecting" By the time you got this news the kid was already born.

I write maybe a dozen or so each week.
Blows your mind when you consider you can send an e-mail or a text message, include the same content, send it to the other side of the world almost instantly and [b]still[/b] have it cost less than the probable snail-mail equivalent in postage !
