How to get rid of fear of swallowing pills?

I used to be fine with it but 2 years ago I tried killing myself by swallowing a bottle full of pain killers and since then I havent swallowed a pill mainly because I'm a little scared. Im not sure why. I tell myself im ready but when it comes to swallowing it, I cant
