Reaching out to fellow introverts...

How do you beat the crushing depression of being alone all the time...because christmas break is making me cry because I have nothing to do and I'm all alone

Ummm.... introverts typically appreciate the solitude.

Is it possible that you are actually an extrovert, but something is making you fear being around people?

@JoeyFoxx Not all introverts are completely solitary, many do enjoy the company of smaller groups and get togethers, maybe two or three others.

@JoeyFoxx Introverts can also be lonely - they want/need less human contact, not none - but they also tend to be bad at making that happen.

It’s a spectrum. There are actually sociable introverts. Although most introverts enjoy their own company, it doesn’t mean they enjoy it 24/7/365, especially at holiday time. Even loneliness is on a spectrum. @JoeyFoxx

@QuixoticSoul I guess I'm lucky. I have my wife and my kids.

I limit my exposure to everyone else. :)
