Well i guess I'll just starve tonight

I don't have much money left and I tried going to mcdonalds and the first one I tried I couldnt get to because there was a car accident and a fire truck blocking and traffic was jammed to hell.

I tried a second McDonalds and they had a long line but nobody was answering the speaker box. I sat for like 3 minutes and nothing. I just drove off and went home. I'm tired and don't want to drive around anymore.

Hmmm. No food in the house? Existing on MacDonalds and having to drive around looking for one? No wonder not much money left!

I was trying to remember how often and when, I used a MacD, or come to that Kentucky Fried Chicken.... Infrequently and years ago.

Subway: once, really only to try it. Quite good, surprisingly, but its New York HQ had decreed a customer in England may not have salad-cream.

Starbucks: never.

Costa (which I call Costalotta - but it was never Italian): maybe a dozen times, but over at least that many years. And then only in motorway services - so probably pricier than in the High Street branches.
