Had the absolute bejesus scared out of me two nights ago.

I was chatting with my best mate and she started stuttering really badly and tripping over her words, she basically couldn't communicate. It sounded like a stroke. I tried to get her to call an ambulance but she wouldn't (scared of hospitals) so I phoned her boyfriend.
Long story short it WAS a stroke, she's slowly regaining the ability to talk. The doctors reckon she'll make a full and decent recovery.
Scared the hell out of me.
