@Cavedweller about an hour i guess. The first time it happened i was teaching. I was sat with a child and he was looking at me very puzzled and although i knew what i thought i was saying....i could hear my words mixed up and slurry. The boy asked if i was ok. I had no headache at that time. My vision normally goes weird with the onset of a migraine but on this occassion that didnt happen. A friend drove me the the hospital but the doctors said it was just a different sympton of migraine.

@RubySoo That's awful. To hear yourself slurring etc and not being able to correct it.

@Cavedweller yes....it is scary. I happened last week actually. I took my meds and managed to keep the headache at bay. Im so pleased it doesnt happen often. X

@nedkelly Her boyfriend lives a two minute drive away from her. Quicker than an ambulance. He took her to hospital quick smart.

@Cavedweller I can imagine it was. You seem to have handled it very calmly!

@SW-User It's just how I'm wired. I tend to keep a cool head in times of crisis.
