Do public people have a right to keep their private life unrevealed?

By public people I mean politicians, sportsmen, actors, singers, businessmen, celebrities.

Ok, so after reading the most recent comments, I am lead to believe that this question has much to do with the recently released recordings of Trump being a pervy man. Well, since I am a woman, let me just weigh in on that. I don't care. I'm not offended. He said it. So what? In my opinion anyone with an ounce of common sense can clearly see that this was just two guys talking sh!t (like men do, don't deny it). I don't think that conversation reflects very much on his core character. It doesn't make him dishonest. It doesn't make him a thief. It doesn't make him a murderer. It doesn't make him untrustworthy. What does it make him? A man, just like the majority of men. Y'all are all a bit pervy and the whole world knows it. Any man who says he's never made a lewd comment about a woman is a liar and any woman who believes him is a fool.

My question was not specificslly about him, but it is the scandal about the recording that has inspired it.
I love this answer. Thank you.

And furthermore, his response actually garnered a bit of respect from me. He didn't deny it. He didn't try to dance around it. What did he do? He owned that sh!t. He said "I said it. It was inappropriate and I apologize". No lies. No excuses. Just ownership and an apology and THAT is what garners respect, at least from this woman.
