No. If they weren’t going to at least try to make it historically accurate then they shouldn’t have incorporated a love story into the movie that nobody could give any conceivable amount of hoots about. 🦉

It was sad so yes I cried. It was based on a true story. Just not the love story portion.

I liked the sinking. The rest was... okay.

It was OK, mostly a pretty standard melodrama dressed up with magnificent special effects and production design. I've long been interested in that early 20th century technology and such, so the recreation of the ship was fascinating.

For years after it I hated Leonardo, I started to love him though because of his later movies
