How do you define maturity?

When you can take any given moment or situation approach it with your knowledge and experience (or seek the help of others with that) as well as remain calm, have patience, and use common sense....while implementing consideration, respect, and compassion, as well as maintain a sense of responsibility and even accountability. The ability to observe and listen, and not just see and hear...when you can do/use that in your daily life, with other people and more importantly with yourself...that's when you gain insight, understanding, and wisdom and THAT is maturity.

@revenant That is why nobody ever completely matures, humans are imperfect and incapable of it....it's lifelong learning process. We can strive for it and grow in it, but in order to reach it we'd have to be gods.
