Do your mistakes or crimes still haunt you to this day?

Not really. When I think about the two things I did that were really wrong, I also realize that I was very young, very afraid of my parents, and very stupid, and I try to live with it.

@popmol I tried to sneak off to get married when I was 17. I was so angry with my mother I didn't even want her there. I just wanted to get married and leave. The 1st ex and I filed our intentions, and we didn't know it would be published in the newspaper. One of my mother's friends saw the notice and informed her.

@popmol She confronted me. And then I had to admit what I had done. She tried to talk me out of it.

I hated her so much that I dated the first ex [i]because[/i] she forbade me. And he was willing to marry me and take me away from her, and I wanted that so desperately I can't even describe it. My parents ended up attending the tiny ceremony.

Thinking back to that time and the hatred I felt is pretty awful. I don't like to think of it.
