Which is more ethical?

If you hunt to fill your freezer, you are killing the animal yourself and have the opportunity to kill it in a more humane way Also I feel like you're more likely to value it more. Assuming we aren't hunting animals to extinction, hunting looks like it has the potential to be much more ethical than buying from a grocery store. Animals get to be free, not crammed into barns and cages, pumped with antibiotics to keep them from succumbing to the crammed living quarters. The way we mass raise animals for meat has a long way to go as far as ethics.
