Is it weird to give my gaming characters background stories?
I spend a lot of time creating lore around my characters.

@ChipmunkErnie It does. I'm currently working on leveling a forsaken mage. His story is that in life he was a feared and insanely evil wizard. To this day his dark magic seeps through the land poisoning all it touches. Since he has risen he is back with a vengeance to carry out his unfinished work.
