In Jamaica it's rainy, windy with alot of thunder and lightening

@FurryFace Look on Windy.com and you can see the way the wind is blowing. There was also a tropical storm that came to Houston, it was downgraded because it weakened but that moisture in the air is being blown up to this area too.

@cherokeepatti don't you need moisture in your dessert terrain ?

@FurryFace It’s not desert, we’ve been getting some rain lately. Got about 2.6 inches a few weeks ago in one rain, probably 5 inches for the week. By the time the grass dried out enough to mow it was about to get away from me and I got sick from the heat & humidity after mowing. Thought I’d have to go to the hospital.

@FurryFace I’m gonna take my Ipad and take a photo of the new library’s small desert style garden around the entrance. It looks like desert plants, they planted them so they don’t have to water much. They even put some big rocks with fool’s gold on them like they out in the deserts.

@FurryFace I am too...they’d probably given me a some electrolytes and check my vital signs and watch me for a while and sent me home and later I’d get a huge bill for the hospital and another for the ER doctor.

@cherokeepatti yeah i found out you can get antibiotics over the counter without it having to be subscribed from a Doctor

@FurryFace not here. You can’t even get them for birds anymore...have to go pay a veterinarian to get them and that would cost a great deal of money (according to a pet store owner). I gave my birds colloidal silver, I keep it in case I get sick. And haven’t had to take it for about 4 years.

@FurryFace But something I found out you don’t need a prescription for is insulin. You can get it cheap at Walmart and people have been prescribed it & the pharmacies charge about $300 or more per month if you get it that way. Too much greed in the medical industry any more.
