One guy at work

Likes to talk alot of crap about me. Then somedays he walks up to me and shakes my hand. I don't know how to deal with this guy I honestly would take his head off but... what would it fix. And also then I have to carry a dirty conscience around... How I look at it, guy is an old man really miserable with himself. It would be easy to take him out like squashing an ant.
