Okay. War has changed. Evolved if you will. The Civil War saw the rise of the scorched earth policy to deny the South the means to wage war and this led to war being a more destructive economic tool as well as a military one. Now war has evolved to the point where military engagements are a last resort. War is geopolitical and economic. So China and the US have been at war in that sense for a decade or more and America has lost. China is solidly in American territory and America is hiding behind tariff walls and staging a retreat. If accounts had to be settled next week, China could claim a few agricultural states as settlement. Thats just how it is.
