@NativeOregonian I guess it depends on the person. Forced prostitution isn’t moral at all to me, and I would hope most people agree. If they don’t...well, then they’re amoral in my eyes, and I’d be happy to avoid them.
@Pikachu Because someone is being forced to trade sex for other things. They could be being forced by fear or a terrible job market. Whatever it is, if that person [i]didn’t[/i] sit down and say, “I actually want to make money by having sex with people even though I have other options” and do that consensually, prostitution is immoral.

@ShaythePanTransMan I personally know many women, both Cis and Trans, in the sex trade, and contrary to the recent news concerning trafficking over the past few years, not many out there on the streets are forced, nor are the ones in bordellos. I knew one woman in Vegas years ago that was a $5,000 a night escort, part of a voluntary network, a union of sorts, they even had lawyers on staff. Would you consider an exotic dancer being forced to perform or a porn actress?

Yes, human trafficking is a tragedy and needs to be stomped out, but do not assume all ladies hustling to be one of the forced.

@NativeOregonian I just said I only think it’s immoral when forced and said absolutely nothing else...so no reason to come and bother me when you agree with me. You just love annoying people, apparently.

@NativeOregonian There's also a lot of men in the sex industry. And that's really sweet, if prostitution was legalized there should be unions for them.

@SatanBurger I completely agree about the unions. I knew quite a few men in the sex industry in the late 80's to mid 90's, I was a part time fluffer for several small studios in Portland during that time.
