What did you think life was going to be like when you were young

Did you think life was going to be a happy ride ? I did. I wanted to become an astronaut. I wanted to do a lot of things, actually. I wanted to have lots of friends and just have fun all the time. Boom then reality hit me 🙂

Honestly, I thought I'd be dead by now. I never intended on making it past 25, and now I'm almost 30 and still lost in life. I didn't plan this far ahead, so I really don't have anything to show for myself.

I traveled to many states and lived in a few different ones trying to buy some time and see if I'd find somewhere I belong. Now I'm just further behind than a lot of peers and socially isolated due to the lack of lasting connections. And I still don't know where I belong.

I was totally unprepared for how empty life would be.
