What do you think of this new 5G coming out?

Do you actually know anything about it? Do you even care?

I'll probably have cancer from it in 20 years.

@SW-User 🧐 Smoking and drinking from plastic straws causes cancer... not 5G (or windmills).
SW-User
@MarkPaul 5G has been killing birds in recent tests. WiFi can boil water. But whatever man. Look up how radio signals work.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User I know how radio signals work. But equating boiling water with cancer is a bit outrageous. And the "killing birds" conspiracy isn't based on anything factual. In other words, it never happened. And, for the record... we did land on the moon, the earth is NOT flat, and a tin foil hat is not going to protect your from ANYTHING.
SW-User
@MarkPaul Comparing the dangers of radiation to flat earth conspiracies only makes you look like a retard. Go stand outside on a sunny day. Feel your skin getting warm? Similar principle. Now piss off, I'm not in the mood to argue with imbeciles.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User Only a retard would attempt to introduce a fictional story (from facebook) as fact to support an indefensible argument. I suggest you get over your sense of wonder of how the sun makes your skin feel warm and sit in the shade for awhile until you cool off and can reflect on what the hell you are trying to accomplish and the methods you are using to do so.
SW-User
@MarkPaul Sun burns can cause skin cancer. What do you think causes those burns? Fairy dust and magic? Go be a retard somewhere else. Thank you.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User It's not the sun burn that causes skin cancer, you idiot, it's the radiation from the sun that is the catalyst. And, if you applied any sense you have in your wooden head, you would realize the sun and 5G are not the same thing. Please think before you preach your lunacy. Damn it!
SW-User
@MarkPaul Exactly you fucking moron. Radiation is known to cause cancer. 5G is type of radiation. Now we're getting somewhere. Think harder, spin your wheels. Maybe you'll go somewhere with it.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User This is just some conspiracy theory that for some unknown and undesignated reason you find convenient to be pushing. It's not convenient to believe that plastic is choking our oceans so you dismiss that fact, but you believe this conspiracy because it gives you some kind of instant gratification-pleasure. Well... I'm sick of it.

X-rays at the dentist's office and in airports give off radiation, but those don't cause cancer. Why? Because they come in low doses. The radiation from 5G is monitored, regulated, and modulated so they don't cause cancer you flaming moron.

It's as if you have no practical sense of the world at all.
SW-User
@MarkPaul Except xrays do cause cancer, idiot. That's why they're so heavily controlled. What makes you think a continuous stream of radiation is comparable to short bursts during an xray? There's a reason I compared it to solar radiation.

Put that thinking cap on and get your noggin joggin.
muh plastic
Not related to this discussion. I know you have a hard on for bendy straws but keep it to yourself going forward.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User Fine! But, that hardly seems like a reasonable request since I was simply making a point of reference.

In any case, you are only supporting my main point for this discussion. X-rays are "heavily controlled" to prevent them from doing harm. Guess what, genius? 5G, likewise, is/will be heavily controlled. For one, there are world-wide limits on what the radiation levels can be for 5G devices. So, you see... you don't have to be scared shitless on getting fried, but you should be scared about what your reckless behavior is doing on the other thing that, apparently, I have to keep to myself.
SW-User
@MarkPaul By nature 5G will not be controlled. The signals will be broadcast 24/7/365, which is how devices connect to it. You're in over your head. Just stop replying.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User That makes zero sense. The signals for each generation of the mobile network are continuously broadcast. Do you even live in the modern world?
SW-User
@MarkPaul Exactly. The shit that boils water is continuously broadcast at all times. What isn't making sense to you here?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User OMG. That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to cause cancer. Damn, dude. Do you even know what you are saying? And, how come you get to talk about boiling water which is irrelevant and I'm not supposed to bring up plastic? You don't even make up the rules.
SW-User
@MarkPaul Plastic and radiation are two different things. You get that, right? Radiation can boil water. Radiation can also cause cancer. Radiation can also kill small animals like birds. Go ahead and try to argue otherwise. This is all common knowledge.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User You're just mixing a bunch of shit up into a boiling soup of nonsense. Radiation CAN cause cancer, but under controlled conditions it can deliver amazing benefits. Radiation CAN kill small animals, like birds. But, 5G did NOT kill birds as you claim.

If you ask me, you should stop and think about what you are saying, what you are doing, and what you are claiming.
SW-User
@MarkPaul It depends on the amount/frequency. You're an absolute fool if you think untested technologies should just be rolled out like this. But enjoy your cancer. This conversation is over because you're hopelessly blind.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SW-User You're an absolute lunatic. 5G has been undergoing tests for at least the last year and a half in nearly every country on the entire planet. I am looking forward to 5G in the years to come. And, this conversation isn't over just because you say it is. But, it is over now. And, I mean it. Dummy!
