@ReganMcNeil It's been better than 4 years since I signed up, but as I recall once you upload your documents they take a week or two to run a background check on you and then you're cleared to drive once you've had your car inspected. They recheck your background every year, and there's a vehicle inspection as well.

@ReganMcNeil You can download the form and take it to an authorized inspection location....a list is available online on the Uber site...or you can go to an Uber Hub and have it inspected for free. I'm lucky enough to have an Uber Hub about 10 miles away so that part is relatively easy. I also drive for Lyft, and while there's no hub station nearby for them, they have at least partnered with a JiffyLube 12 miles away for the inspections. If you choose to pay for an inspection it's only about $10 or $15

@ReganMcNeil If you want, sure! I did PostMates for a while, but could never make more than $90 for a full day's work. Yesterday I did 8 hours between Lyft and Uber and come home with better than $200, and that's working daytime hours...if you can put up with the drunks at night you can make much more.
