Sometimes, people actually get annoyed with someone being nice, and sometimes people think it is fake because most people are mean these days.
It would be difficult to say for sure which scenario we are talking about without getting to know you a little bit, but I certainly wouldn't mind that, especially if you're actually that nice.
I won't claim that I'm always nice, I'm kind and caring but sometimes when you care about someone that also means being very forceful with anyone who would hurt them, and that's not always nice.
