Does this mean in the Christian Religion... that all Jewish people go to hell?

See I dont believe that... I was raised as a Christian... but my mind is more open to our world today and how our generation lives... so I see myself as half religious but I'm more a believer for Laws of Attraction... I still consider myself 50/50.

I could never disown what I was taught.

But I think it's sad that's how Christians think.

Yeah it feels very off that someone so powerful and all knowing would get caught up in how a person accepts certain things or not, believes certain things or not, is of a certain label, or member or what have you. I would think someone so powerful would be able to see through such superficialiaties.

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

That's pretty much what I have come to believe too. Even though in the LDS church there really isn't any hell there's an outer darkness but very few people actually go there only like Hitler kind of people.

I think the majority of people have a good heart and want to do good. You can't everyone will accidentally step on a few times through out their lives.

I lost faith in my own church a long time ago, but just like scarlet it is a part of me and my personality. I can't just say I never felt like it wasn't true.

@ScarletWitch The bible is full of metaphors. I read it with an open heart and pray to receive the right understanding. I've never taken it word for word it was written in a different time and retranslated hundreds of more times.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I'm no great biblical scholar at least for 30 years but... Didn't a lot of the gospels and Paul's writings say exactly that though... Like

Matthew 8:11–12: “I tell you, many will come from east and west” — that is, Gentiles — “and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom” — that is, the Jews that are rejecting him in his own day — “will be thrown into outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Paul writes in Romans 11:23: “Even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in for God has the power to graft them in again.”

I was brought up a Christian and yes that's what I was taught. If you don't believe Jesus is son of God, risen from the dead and assended into heaven. Then St Peter will meet you at the pearly gates shake his head and you go to hell and damnation for eternity.
