What's high school like

Expectation: It's going to prepare you for the world as an adult.

Reality: It's designed to put you in your place (Middle School style) with authority figures who largely lack awareness of what the real world is. "And, there are some fine people."

Can't say a lot because I've only been to one, but it was pretty boring. If you can, get placed in advanced classes as soon as possible. Also, if yours has a similar program, try to take a few college courses.

Yeah don’t pay attention to the boys till near the end of high school. The amount of freshman in relationships was insane. Poor younglings thought they would be together forever😂😂😂 oh and you’re pretty much gonna lose all your friends bc everyone becomes snakes

Before I entered high school, I thought it would be like in the movies. Parties, smoking, cliques, and all that dumb shit. But in real life, the people are all chill. Everyone just hung out with whoever they wanted and there wasn't a lot of drama. I just focused on school stuff. Did a lot of extracurriculars, club activities, and a fuck ton of community service. I didn't make too many friends.
