Have you ever lost a job that was the best ever ?

I did... several years ago, i worked for a company; i was a janitor in schools in my city. it was just the best job i ever had but i lost it because i started missing days without reporting it to my company, so they fired me.

and still today, if i could i would retake that job again. because it was the best company ever and theres nothing else around that compares to it.

No, never lost a job I loved.

Hopefully next time you find one you love, it's a lesson learned and you'll handle it differently
You should try to look for a similar company. I bet there are others. 🤗

@Vivaci yeah i work for a similar company today. still a cleaning guy but inside a downtown building.
@pikminboy keep looking...give your resume to indeed.com and some other recruiters.

Yeah. I used to work as a sanitation worker at a chip factory. Made a lot of money and I did absolutely nothing. I would spend most of my shift hiding in the bathroom playing on my phone. I would bring home $600 paychecks every week. I had full benefits snd everything. I quit on my own though because I had problems with the people I worked with.

@HannibalMontanimal yeah thats the best thing to do. if you have problems with coworkers and you dont feel right there, better to leave.

Me i dont talk much to my coworkers, but they always been polite to me. never been so bad.

I didn't have any experience losing job, I used to left company because of disrespect attitude towards employees..I wished you find the right job for you.. Keep spirit

I think that it’s really cool that you enjoyed being a janitor. It shows the humility in you, the desire to make this world a better place through cleanliness.
pikminboy · 31-35, M
@Specialyouare yeah. and it was the best job because you was mostly alone in a school. as long as you did the tasks you was paid and everything was fine.

@pikminboy I currently work as a hotel housekeeper and yes, the being alone part is fabulous. Did you ever have to deal with complaints?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
Why was it so great? I'd like to work at a school...to have scheduled time off, and to not have to worry about who's gonna do my work while I'm out, and who's secretly mad at me about it..

Why did you not call in to your company?
pikminboy · 31-35, M
@cherokeepatti i was a bit different back then. i was young , immature and a bit weak. I missed some days without calling in and they fire me .

@pikminboy you didn’t fully appreciate that job till you lost it. Sad because jobs that we actually like don’t come around that often.
