Yes, I think we do tend to get quite a bit more attention, if the F is displayed. Not hundreds of messages (at least for me), but quite a few messages from random people I've never seen on here before. And though some of it is positive attention, much of it is not the kind of attention that I want.

Long ago on another site (similar to this, not even a dating site) as an experiment I once changed my profile to female and added a sexy pic and on the first day I got 100 messages.

I typically get 150 views and 30 messages a day- without ever asking for attention or answering inquiries. I don't even have a photo album.
