It only matters as long as people remember you. I do a lot of genealogy work, and the names and records of most of the people who have ever lived are lost.

If you are having an argument with a loved one, this is a great thought. But if you’re choosing between something you believe is true that will benefit all people, and something you believe perpetuates evils between all people, I think it matters. Not everyone is qualified to make such distinctions. Life is not black and white. Those who think it is, are probably the least qualified. Soooo, be sure to ask a scientist.
