Well think about it. History of slavery based on race, then another century of Jim Crow. They justified all this at the time by teaching that the black race was inferior. So now that it has become mainstream to believe that blacks and whites are equal, as it should be, it follows that whites are morally indebted to helping blacks recover (money, education, jobs, families, etc.) at the expense of other whites if necessary.
The other part of it is that as a result of the history of official and unofficial slavery and discrimination, blacks are generally poorer and less educated and are incarcerated at a higher rate, etc.; and one thing that seems to be fairly unique about the US compared to other industrialized nations, if in fact you still consider the US an industrialized nation, is that there seems to be a strong, prevalent belief among the middle and lower classes that poor people are lazy, and the government helping lazy poor people is the reason [i]I’m[/i] not doing as well as I’d like to be. The wealthy here seem to have succeeded at turning the attention away from stagnant wages while cost of living has continued to increase.

I'm not American so perhaps I have a clouded view our maybe not being personally involved a better view...
My thoughts are subconsciously there may be a great of revenge over slavery working away, revenge and guilt maybe... But also many uneducated people great that which is different... They have their own small world view and anything that challenges that our promotes change make them uncomfortable

I think it's a valid question. I've noticed a lot more attitude and defensiveness in American blacks (versus other blacks). Maybe this will change over time.

Cause they are such a small percentage of america yet commit most the crimes, they destroy most neighborhoods/cities where they are the majority, they want reparations...etc..... just a few reasons

@strongbow And why do you think they commit so much crime? It wouldn’t have anything to do with a history of slavery based on race and discrimination after that, which has led to them being generally poorer and less educated than whites so they feel like crime is their only way to make a living, would it?
